What's This All About?

The story of Dynatron is a children's tale that combines the two things that kids like most: dinosaurs and transforming robots. Taking place on a distant planet in outer space, Dynatron takes you off to wild new adventures where tech meets tyrants and colorful creatures clash for control of the most valuable worlds in the universe!
Show here is the cover to the first issue of Dynatron. It's full of great images that are remniscent of Japanese Animation... wide-eyed characters with locks of hair dangling over their faces.... mammoth Shogun-style robot warriors who save the day.... and reptilian evil-doers who won't rest until victory is theirs!

Who's The Author?

Glad you asked! My name is Dave Bielski, and I created Dynatron #1 as a Christmas gift for my 6-year old nephew, Christopher Perkins. I'm a Connecticut resident, and I love to draw cartoons! I promised Christopher that I would draw him his very own book, and after he gave me his ideas about what he wanted to see, I sat down and pulled some old sketches off the shelf and made them into something that we both enjoy. It took four months to produce this book, and Christopher will tell you, it was well worth the wait!

Who's The Publisher?

I publish Dynatron myself under the trademark "Reflex Comix". I produce the book in two forms: a large 8.5"x11" limited edition size, and a smaller 5.5"x8.5" digest-size. Since they're not mass-produced, I rely on a "home-brew" approach to getting these books to market. The large size is printed via color-laser copier, and the digest size is printed on my HP Professional ink-jet printer on premium papers. I deliver these books myself to local comic book shops, and I sell them directly to you from this website. Not your typical mainstream comic, but then again, this isn't your average comic either!

When Do New Issues Come Out and How Can I Get Them?

Issue #2 is out RIGHT NOW. (to get it, click HERE!). New issues of Dynatron will be available every six months. Issue #3 is scheduled for release in July of 2000, and Issue #4 for December 2000. Want to be the first to know when they're ready? Send an ~~email~~ with your name and address, and you will be added to the Dynatron electonic- and snail-mailing lists. You will be notified as soon as the next issue becomes available.
