The family name "Bielski" is an old one. It goes back nearly a thousand years and is carried on by many individual families.   The origins of the name come from the Polish word "byel" meaning "white".  The Polish word "byel" has its roots in Slavic origins.

These pages present a scattered attempt at researching the the family name.  There are no claims made to noble titles.  Eventually, this site will show a history of my specific leg of the family.  Until then, please enjoy these pages, which discuss many people and places that have become associated with the name.
