Troop Groop Discography

The list below is not complete - we're working on it!! Coming soon: I'll Light A Match To You, Get Out of My Life, Live at Club Kermit.

Kermit The Fribble

1. Kernit The Fribble (Generic Mix)
2. Kermit The Fribble (Human/Tomato Mix)
3. Kermit's Extended Nightmare (Osterizer's Revenge)

The lead single from "Fribbles & Giggles" was thrust upon the airwaves (and telephone lines) in 1987 as the calling card for the "lunatic fringe of blender poetry". No muppets were harmed in the making of this recording. Formats: Cassette Single and CD single.

Looking for Ralph!

1. Looking For Ralph (The Aftermath - extended)
2. Looking For Ralph (The Aftermath - edit)
3. Why The Hell Am I Tapping?

The second single from "Fribbles & Giggles" was a grand experiment in house music like the world had never heard. If Enya could record a essence of a hangover, it would sound like this. Formats: Cassette Single and CD single.

Live In Southington

1. Tacky <<BAM!>>
2. Don't Drop Me In The Salad
3. Raoul - Why The Hell Am I Tapping?
4. Looking For Ralph
5. Kermit The Fribble (Extended Beyond Belief)

Leave it to Troop Groop to release a live EP before their first studio album! In response to the smashing success of their first two singles, Jayme and David hit the road with energetic (and staggeringly warped) stage show. Recorded Live in Southington in 1987. Formats: Cassette Single and CD single.

Meet Mr. Blender

1. Kermit The Fribble (Generic Mix)
2. Tacky <<BAM!>>
3. Looking for Ralph (Live)
4. Kermit The Fribble (Extended Beyond Belief) (Live)

Leave it to Troop Groop to release yet another EP before their first studio album! This 4-cut mini-EP was released to radio as the band worked feverishly to put the finishing touches on their long-awaited album, "Fribbles & Giggles". This collection contained two studio tracks and two live tracks. Formats: Cassette Single and CD single.

Kermit The Fribble

4. Tacky <<BAM!>>
5. Joan Crawford (wire hanger boogie)
6. Raoul (Why the Hell am I tapping?)
7. I'll Be Nuking YOU!
8. The WONDERMIX!

The landmark release from Troop Groop, which spawned the dancefloor smash hit "Tacky <<BAM!>>" and many timeless classics like "Don't Drop Me In The Salad" and their hillarious ode to "Joan Crawford". While many critics refused to take the band seriously, Jayme and David assured their fans with tracks like "I'll Be Nuking YOU!" that they really didn't need to take themselves (or their critics) seriously. Formats: Cassette and CD.

Tacky <<BAM!>>

1. Tacky<<BAM!>> (Radio / album version)
2. Tacky<<BAM!>> (Dance Mix)
3. Tacky<<BAM!>> (dub version)
4. Quite the Mix

The third single from "Fribbles & Giggles" saved the best for last. "Tacky <<BAM!>>" showcased the band's abiility to get you to sake your booty whilst dressed appropriately. It's fun & fabulous, but even we aren't quite sure what "Quite the Mix" was..... Format: Cassette Single

Party Time

1. Processed Scream Spread
2. Joan Crawford (Latin Nuclear Mommie Dearest Mix)
3. I'll Be Nuking You (remix)

From the monstrous montage of "Processed Scream Spread" to the effortless "Tacky <<BAM!>>" Dance Mix, the band does not disappoint. With no apologies to the Latin Rascals. Format: Cassette.
