Voltron
II: Origins
Voltron II, according to
the official Voltron website,
was supposed to be Albegas, the "Gladiator Voltron" as marketed
by Matchbox in the 1980's.
Before the days of Youtube,
I had seen very little footage of the program, leaving a lot to the
imagination. I had combed the web for any scrap of information I could
get about the series and posted it on my original Albegas
page, which is still out there at cox.net - they never took down
our sub-accounts when we closed our main account and moved out to
the country!
Meanwhile, today you can
actually find whole episodes of Albegas (or Arbegas) on Youtube and
on DVD if you're lucky... What's still lost to history is *how* the
series would have been woven into the fabric that is the Voltron mythos.
The stories will be left to fan fiction writers like myself, who are
intent on bringing the full Voltron Trilogy to light!

If
Voltron II were a webcomic, it might look a little like this (click

About
this clip:
I made this from salvaged clips of Italian-broadcast Albegas found on
Youtube and ripped music and f/x from Voltton. Enjoy!
